The Salt Cities : Drawing the Cities for Unsure ground Exhibition In association with Lisbon Triennale "Close, Closer", this exhibition was held during the Shrinking Cities | Expanding Landscapes Conference in Edinburgh. Exhibition Description: 'The city is seen as a field of unsure ground between landform and land value, natural and cultural construction. Geomorphological fragilities interplay with temporal, material, environmental and spatial limits. Drawings of Saltcities draw from tactics such as military cartography, hydrography, geological and geographical codification, and make the exhibition a series of cities drawn (out) as critical fields of inquiry.' |
