A trace of a bodily gesture was to be captured in order to inform the design of a chair. Having looked at various bodily gestures, a tucked up/ emryo like gestural form was persued. To capture this bodily gesture, a series of full scale body positons were imprinted and recorded by rolling a painted body across a large white cotton sheet. (Click on image for full size image)
